Student profile: Laura Cerbus
For Laura Cerbus, there’s something magnetic about ‘ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ÊÓƵ’. She attended ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Secondary School, then ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ÊÓƵ School for Ministry, both in Pennsylvania, and is now commencing the next step of her study journey at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ÊÓƵ College Theological School in Melbourne, looking into the complexity of ‘beauty’.
Laura Cerbus commenced her PhD at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ÊÓƵ College in 2022 and is considering how we learn to see and perceive beauty. Laura is also looking at the relationship between learning to perceive creation – and its beauty or ‘ugliness’ – and the process of becoming ‘beautiful’ people ourselves, and the way that influences how we care for our world, particularly in light of the climate crisis.
